Avon Residents we NEED to do better.  The first picture below was sent from Pellitteri in an email asking us to go to twice a week pick up due to the dumpsters consently being OVERLOADED.  If the board decided to go with twice a week pick up that will INCREASE our monthly bill by roughly $700 which will ultimately result in a TAX INCREASE to cover the cost.  

How can you prevent your property taxes from increasing?  Simple, follow the rules posted at the town hall.  The trash dumpsters are for regular household trash ONLY.  All other items need to be taken to the GREEN COUNTY LANDFILL.  

We would like to thank the residents that are using the dumpsters properly and helping the town board keeping the area clean, it is much appreciated.

To those that are taking advange of the dumpsters and putting in furniture, construction materials, paint cans, toliets, deck boxes, chairs, etc in there, DO BETTER.  Tough decisions will have to be made if this continues.
