General Election - November 3

The November 3rd election is fast approaching, here is some important information to know and a sample ballot for November 3rd:

 * If you are in need of an absentee ballot simply go to myvote.wi.gov and fill out the information to receive a ballot by mail.  The last day to make this request is Thursday, October 29th at 5:00 p.m.

* In - person absentee voting starts on OCTOBER 20th you can call 608-921-3656 to make an appointment or the following dates the clerk will be available at the Town Hall; October 21 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., October 28 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., or October 30 from 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.  The last day to in-person absentee vote is October 30th at 5:00 p.m.

* Are you new to the area, changed your name, or a first time voter?  Go to myvote.wi.gov and get registered now until October 13th to skip the lines on election day.  Remember you can still register vote on election day.

* What to bring to the polls:  Valid ID, if registering to vote also a Proof of Residency.  See the Wisconsin Election Commission webite to see all valid forms of ID and Proof of Residency.

* Polling Place is the Avon Town Hall located at 16513 W Beloit Newark Rd, Brodhead, WI 53520.  Election Day Hours ar 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
