The Avon Town Board and residents continue to discuss and debate the prospect of opening Avon roads to ATV/UTV travel. There is much to be considered, including which roads might be designated as ATV routes, route signage, time restrictions, law enforcement, and other issues.
The Avon Town Chair has assembled a “risk-benefit analysis” based on months of feedback from residents on both sides of this issue. Also included in this report is a map showing what route signage needs might look like.
